Ski Patrol The ski patrol is an organization that provides first aid and rescue services to skiers and participants of other snow sports. Every ski area/resort will have a ski patrol team. The patrol's main duties are to: • Promote ski/snowboard safety • Enforce rules and policies of the resort • Help injured skiers/riders • Conduct trail checks • Clear mountain for closing The ski patrol transports victims by toboggan, snow mobile, or even by helicopter in extreme situations. The
patrol should be easily identifiable on the slope. You can find them out on the
trails where they are constantly patrolling or they can be found at one of the
