The
Wild Center is open for the 2012 summer season. Please join us when
then to get immersed in your wild world. There are swimming otters,
terrific engaging exhibits and plenty to explore outside and inside
at the Center. The award-winning Center houses great exhibits including
live exhibits and multi-media shows. You can explore the 31- acre campus
on marked trails. There are theaters with high definition films, plenty
of hands-on activities and hundreds of live animals from rare native
trout, to porcupines, hawks, and many other often hard-to-see residents
of the woods and waters

Adirondack "Great Camp." served as Pres. Coolidge's 1926 Summer White House. Two-hour
guided tour includes architecturally unique lodges, cabins, boat houses, bowling
alley, etc. in an enchanting lakeside setting. Orientation video, interpretive

ADIRONDACK VISITOR INTERPRETIVE CENTER Paul Smiths, NYVIC's
extensive trail system offers everyone views of water, mountains and wildlife.
A great place to learn about the Adirondacks and its history. The VIC also offers
exhibitions, classes, workshops, and festivals, for all ages. The VIC hosts the
Wildlife Festival, and is home to the first butterfly house in the U.S. (518)

ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON COTTAGE Saranac Lake, NYMaster
storyteller and author of Treasure Island and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and
Mr. Hyde called this cabin home in the winter of 1887-88 and has been carefully

NATIONS INDIAN MUSEUM Onchiota, NYPaintings, drawings,
maps and artifacts that reflect the historic and contemporary aspects of the Six

CHARLES DICKERT MEMORIAL WILDLIFE MUSEUM Saranac Lake, NYWildlife
museum highlighting the work of Charles Dickert, a taxidermist who lived Saranac
